OUR SCHOOL CLASS PROGRAMMES AT A GLANCE

Team spirit and tolerance - In the footsteps of FC Bayern (10 - 14-year-olds)

Shared values characterise our society both on and off the football pitch. The focus is on the different cultural influences and heritage of the players as well as fair play, respect and teamwork. Using further tasks, the pupils go in search of clues, familiarise themselves with the museum and draw a connection between sport and everyday life.

Duration: 60-90 min.

Around the world with FC Bayern (10 - 18-year-olds)

The period since 1900 is also reflected in the history of what is now the largest sports club in the world. The history of FC Bayern shows that aspects such as open-mindedness, respect, team spirit and perseverance have always played an important role. Issues such as integration and tolerance are explored in a dialogue with the pupils.

Duration: 60-75 min.

FAQs - Frequently asked questions

Why can I only book a few weeks in advance?
  • As the opening times of the FC Bayern Museum and the Allianz Arena - and therefore also the feasibility of the school class programme - are dependent on matchdays and other events, we can guarantee that specific days can be booked around four to six weeks before the relevant date.

  • It's during that period that the responsible football associations (DFL, DFB, UEFA, FIFA) announce the scheduled fixtures..

What should the maximum size of the participating group be?
  • Depending on the respective school class programme, a maximum group size of around 20 to 30 pupils should be adhered to.

  • Within this framework, efficient and active participation of the children and young people in a pleasant working environment can be guaranteed and at the same time the spatial capacities in the FC Bayern Museum can be used to optimum effect.

  • However, it is not a problem to run the programme with larger or several groups on the same day. In this case, the only things to consider are the minimum purchase of 15 tickets per group and that the groups start at staggered times. You should therefore allow for a little more time.

Why do the groups have to start at staggered times?
  • Certain rooms within the FC Bayern Museum are utilised for the various school class programmes.

  • To ensure that their bookings do not overlap, it is necessary to stagger the programmes by 30 to 45 minutes when booking several groups.

  • If you intend to visit the Allianz Arena as part of a half-hour Arena taster tour, you can avoid unnecessary waiting times by taking the taster tour within the specified 30 to 45 minutes.

When do I have to pay for the school class programme (and the Arena (taster) tour)?
  • Payment for any services booked is made in advance via our booking system.

  • One you have booked, we will send you an e-mail with information regarding the payment details.

  • On the day of your visit, you will receive your tickets in the foyer of the FC Bayern Museum or from the Arena tour guide. If one of the students is spontaneously unable to attend, no cancellations are necessary (please note the minimum purchase of 15 tickets). Please take note of the terms and conditions contained in the booking confirmation.

  • If you need to cancel or postpone your visit, this can be done free of charge, provided that the corresponding request is made within the specified period. Free cancellation is otherwise not possible.

Why might it be necessary in exceptional cases to spontaneously postpone a booked visit?
  • Matchdays or other events at the Allianz Arena are sometimes scheduled at relatively short notice.

  • As we have no influence over this, in exceptional cases it may be necessary to cancel and postpone previously agreed dates for visiting a school class programme at short notice.
