FC Bayern Museum: Information, tickets, exhibitions

520,000 fans through the door - thank you!

The FC Bayern Museum continues to go from strength to strength: having already reached the 500,000-visitor mark last year for the first time, another new record was set in the 2024/25 season with 520,000 guests.

“We’re very pleased that we’ve attained another visitor record at the FC Bayern Museum in the year of the club’s 125th anniversary,” said Petra Leufstedt, director of the FC Bayern Museum. “This success is even more remarkable given that the museum was closed for a longer period of time this season as a result of the UEFA finals and other events. In that respect, I’d like to say a big thank you to the visitors and all the fans who have made this outstanding result possible.”

“The FC Bayern Museum has been bringing the history and successes of FC Bayern to life for over 10 years – while also writing its own success story,” added Thomas Glas, FC Bayern Munich brand director. “The visitor record in our anniversary year shows clearly that historically founded information, identity formation and cross-generational entertainment interwine perfectly in the FC Bayern Museum. We will continue to pursue this path in the future.” This intention also applies to the museum's current renovation, which is being carried out in parallel with its operation and includes an expansion of the exhibition space.

New special exhibition: ‘20 Years of the Allianz Arena’

It’s been another eventful few months for the FC Bayern Museum: as well as many fans, it’s welcomed prominent guests including Bayern stars Harry Kane, Sarah Zadrazil and Caro Simon, who brought in their trophies for the men’s championship and the women’s double. The special exhibition ‘20 Years of the Allianz Arena – Beacon, Home, Stage’ will also officially open shortly.

Perfect day out for the whole family

So, the Allianz Arena is always worth a visit, even when there are no football matches on – especially for families. Germany's largest club museum takes visitors on an exciting journey through time, from the club's founding in 1900 to the recent successes of the German record champions. And with special stations and highlights such as the Berni House, there is always plenty on offer for children in particular. A visit to the large FC Bayern Store, with a wide selection of everything a fan could desire, and an Arena Rour round off the trip to the Allianz Arena.
