FC Bayern’s players and coaches received their new all-electric company cars from automotive partner and shareholder Audi in Ingolstadt on Tuesday. The successful collaboration with the car manufacturer has been running since 2002. In 2020, the partnership was extended until 2029. The premium car manufacturer has also supported FC Bayern Women since 2021, and in addition Audi has been a partner of the club’s youth work since the beginning of 2024.
Diederich: "Sustainability is important to us as FC Bayern"
Michael Diederich, FC Bayern deputy CEO: “Whether as a team on the pitch or beyond the pitch in our society, we can only make a difference together. Sustainability is important to us as FC Bayern. And as a club with our millions of fans around the world, we also want to set a positive example in terms of electromobility. In this context, the trusting cooperation with Audi is a valuable component of the FC Bayern sustainability strategy ‘Mitnand’.”
Audi CEO and FCB supervisory board member Gernot Döllner: “FC Bayern has been a strong partner at our side for more than 22 years. We are united by the high standards we set ourselves and the goal of being among the leaders in our respective fields. On our journey into the electric future, the Bayern players are important ambassadors for getting many people excited about e-mobility with our all-electric models. In terms of sportiness, too, our vehicles are in no way inferior to the professional footballers.”

Keys handed over by Audi staff
The team received their new vehicles on Tuesday at the Audi Piazza in Ingolstadt. The keys were handed over by Audi staff, who then had the opportunity to meet Jamal Musiala, Aleksandar Pavlović and Co. The Bayern squad took plenty of time to sign autographs and take souvenir photos during the vehicle handover, and then also visited Audi headquarters in Ingolstadt.
Fleet again fully electric
Bayern’s entire fleet of cars once again consists exclusively of fully electric premium vehicles. Head coach Vincent Kompany, Harry Kane, Joshua Kimmich and Manuel Neuer drive an Audi SQ8 SUV e-tron, while Thomas Müller, Konrad Laimer and Leon Goretzka drive the Audi RS e-tron GT performance.
Audi integrating Bayern app in selected vehicles
The partnership between FC Bayern and Audi focuses on strategic cooperation in the areas of innovation and electrification. Players will find a total of 38 charging points at the club’s premises at Säbener Straße. Audi and FC Bayern have already created more than 50 charging points at the Allianz Arena.
FC Bayern is also enriching Audi's digital ecosystem, with the official FC Bayern app now available for download from the Audi Application Store in selected models. Bayern’s web radio is also available during matches, as well as live blogs, match reports, statistics and fixture lists.
