Bayern players called up for national teams

Germany have already qualified for the knockout rounds of the UEFA Nations League but still have top spot in their group to secure. Julian Nagelsmann has called up four Bayern players in captain Joshua Kimmich, Serge GnabryJamal Musiala and Leroy Sané for the final two games against Bosnia and Herzegovina in Freiburg on 16 November (8.45pm CET) and against Hungary in Budapest on 19 November (8.45pm). Germany need just a point from their remaining fixtures to guarantee top spot in Group A3.

France boss Didier Deschamps has called up Kingsley ComanMichael Olise and Dayot Upamecano as they go in search of the point they need in Group A2 to book their place in the Nations League quarter-finals. Les Bleus come into the final two games in second place on nine points as they host Israel at the Stade de France on 14 November (8.45pm) before going to Milan to take on section leaders Italy (10 points) on 17 November (8.45pm).

England: Kane

Harry Kane and England face two crucial final games in the Nations League in their last fixtures under interim boss Lee Carsley. The Three Lions first go to Athens on 14 November (8.45pm CET) to take on still flawless Greece needing to win to keep alive their chances of an automatic return to League A after the Greeks claimed a surprise 2-1 win at Wembley last month. Captain Kane and his side then host Ireland in London on 17 November (8.45pm CET).

Portugal: Palhinha

João Palhinha is in Portugal’s squad for their final two Nations League group games against Poland in Porto (15 November, 8.45pm CET) and against Croatia in Split (18 November, 8.45pm). Roberto Martínez’s men top Group A1 with 10 points ahead of Croatia (seven) and Poland (four), and will ensure their place in the quarter-finals with a point.

Austria: Laimer

Konrad Laimer and Austria are still aiming for promotion in the Nations League from their tight Group B3. Prior to their 14 November visit to Kazakhstan (4pm CET) and final game at home to Slovenia on 17 November (6pm), Ralf Rangnick’s side are tied with Slovenia and Norway on seven points.

Israel: Peretz

The target for Daniel Peretz and Israel going into their final two games in Group A2 is to avoid automatic relegation to League B. They are in France on 14 November (8.45pm) before a home game against Belgium in Budapest on 17 November (8.45pm). Israel are currently bottom of their section with zero points and will be automatically relegated unless they can make up the four-point deficit to Belgium.

South Korea: Kim

Minjae Kim and South Korea have two away fixtures this month in their 2026 World Cup qualifiers. They first go to Kuwait on 14 November (5pm local time, 3pm CET) before taking on Palestine in Jordan on 19 November (5pm local time, 3pm CET). South Korea currently top Group B in the third round of Asian qualifying with 10 points from four games. First place will mean automatic qualification for the World Cup.

France U21s: Tel

Mathys Tel has been called up by the French U21 national team for their internationals against Italy (15 November at 16:15 CET in Empoli) and Germany (19 November at 16:15 CET in Valenciennes).
