Jan-Christian Dreesen (CEO): "Another chapter in this intense season: FC Bayern versus Leverkusen, now for the fourth and fifth time. Of course, many fans and I would've preferred an international clash in the Champions League, but that doesn't make any difference to our task. The past also doesn't come into it. Everyone will have to go to their performance limits because our objective is clear: progressing to the next round!"
Max Eberl (board member for sport): "FC Bayern and Bayer Leverkusen is a meeting of the two best current German teams, who have already given fans some exciting contests this season. We've seen in them how difficult this task is. We're going to summon everything to come out on top in these two games."
