One balcony, two teams, three trophies – together with the fans, the men and women of FC Bayern celebrated a red and white football festival in the heart of Munich on Sunday afternoon. Marienplatz was transformed into a party zone for the traditional title celebrations, with dancing, singing and celebrating. "The Allianz Arena is our living room, the Town Hall and the balcony have become our party room. The pictures from the balcony go around the world and show how unique and great FC Bayern is,” said president Herbert Hainer at the reception hosted by mayor Dieter Reiter. Konrad Laimer was also impressed by the scenes: “That's why we all play football, so that we can enjoy moments like this.” Giulia Gwinn, who won the first double in the club's history with FC Bayern Women, was also delighted: “We've made history this year, and we realise that again today.” fcbayern.com has put together the reaction from the title party.

Herbert Hainer, president of FC Bayern: “The Allianz Arena is our living room, the Town Hall and the balcony have become our party room. The pictures from the balcony go around the world and show how unique and great FC Bayern is. It's one of the best experiences when you can stand on the balcony with both teams and cheer the fans. I would especially like to thank both coaches. Vincent Kompany impresses us with his likeable manner alone and has led us to the championship in a very confident manner. I would also like to thank Alex Straus, who has led us to three championships in a row and this year to the double for the first time. Finally, I have one wish - let's come together in the same arrangement next year so that the world can see where success is at home: in the heart of the city of Munich."

Bianca Rech, director of FC Bayern Women: "It's incredible to see so many fans celebrating us. You can't do it without the fans - so it's even better that they're all here today. It's much more than just football, it's people, it's personalities that make up this team. The journey we started three years ago is more than just what we show on the football pitch. It's more about what happens off the pitch, the understanding and trust we have for each other. We have created a very special culture."

Vincent Kompany, head coach: "It's incredible and I'm delighted for the fans and for the city. The season was fun, the lads gave their all, the energy was good - that's a good basis for next season. We'll celebrate and get back to work tomorrow. We have a bit of time off, the players have international duty - then we'll have a really good preparation for the Club World Cup. That's the priority and we'll prepare well."

Thomas Müller: "It was wonderful today. We were very happy that we ended the season with the Bundesliga title. I personally feel very good, very appreciated – eventually the time will come when it’s over. To be honest, I’ve been making my fareweels for six weeks, I no longer know where to put all the pictures. I’ve obviously enjoyed all these special moments, but when we have two weeks’ holiday now, I’ll have time to let it all sink in. We're delighted to be at the Club World Cup and of course we want to win it."
Konrad Laimer: “This is why we all play football, so that we can enjoy moments like this. You look forward to being able to enjoy the moments together with the fans for all the hard work throughout the year. It’s always difficult to pick out one single moment. You could tell right from the start that we want to be successful together. We are on a very good path. I'm looking forward to the coming years."

Giulia Gwinn: “It’s a nice setting for both teams, standing outside again with the men and being welcomed. We’ve had a few chances to celebrate. And we’ve done so because it’s not possible that often during the season. That makes it even nicer at the end when you’ve achieved something. We’ve made history this year, which we’ve realised again today.”
