Head coach Vincent Kompany has given his players 12 days off. On Saturday, 3 January 2026, Harry Kane and his teammates will start the new year with performance tests, with the first team training session scheduled for 4 January.
Friendly at Red Bull Salzburg on FC Bayern TV PLUS
The German record champions' dress rehearsal for the first competitive match of the new year will take place on 6 January. Midweek games in first three weeks
After nine days' preparation for the second half of the season, FC Bayern face an intense start with nine games in three weeks. Their first competitive match of the new year is a home game against VfL Wolfsburg on 11 January (17:30 CET). This will be followed by two away games, at 1. FC Köln (14 January, 20:30 CET) and RB Leipzig (17 January, 18:30 CET), as well as the Bavarian derby against FC Augsburg (24 January, 15:30 CET) at the Allianz Arena. In the Champions League, the two remaining matches of the league phase, at home against Royale Union Saint-Gilloise (21 January, 21:00 CET) and away at PSV Eindhoven (28 January, 21:00 CET) will determine whether Bayern will finish in the top eight and qualify directly for the round of 16.
