Friendly at Red Bull Salzburg on FC Bayern TV PLUS
The German record champions' dress rehearsal for the first competitive match of the new year will take place on 6 January. At 15:00 CET the Munich men will play a friendly at 17-time Austrian champions Red Bull Salzburg. The game will be broadcast live on FC Bayern TV PLUS (all you need to know about subscribing).
Midweek games in first three weeks
After nine days' preparation for the second half of the season, FC Bayern face an intense start with nine games in three weeks. Their first competitive match of the new year is a home game against VfL Wolfsburg on 11 January (17:30 CET). This will be followed by two away games, at 1. FC Köln (14 January, 20:30 CET) and RB Leipzig (17 January, 18:30 CET), as well as the Bavarian derby against FC Augsburg (24 January, 15:30 CET) at the Allianz Arena. In the Champions League, the two remaining matches of the league phase, at home against Royale Union Saint-Gilloise (21 January, 21:00 CET) and away at PSV Eindhoven (28 January, 21:00 CET) will determine whether Bayern will finish in the top eight and qualify directly for the round of 16.
