After winning the Goal of the Month award for the past month, MIchael Olise has made it a double and been voted the FC Bayern August 2026 Player of the Month. The winger received 43.8 percent of the votes from fans, finishing ahead of summer signing Nathaniel Brown (20.1%) and Luis Díaz (9.7%) on the podium.

Olise contributed two goals and one assist in two competitive games in August, playing a starring role in the first title of the season. The France international scored one goal and set up another in the 2-1 victory at Borussia Dortmund in the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup, rightly earning him the Man of the Match accolade. He then got on the scoresheet again in the 5-1 win over VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga opener to continue his excellent form from last season.
Another fan award for Olise
Supporters of the German record champions crowned Olise as their FC Bayern Player of the Season at the end of the 2025/26 campaign. If the 24-year-old carries on like this, further awards will certainly follow.
