Bayern’s international players back in training

It’s been almost three weeks since Bayern were last in action with their 7-0 win over Union Berlin. Most of the squad has been away playing for their country in the meantime, but Vincent Kompany has now welcomed them all back to Säbener Straße in Munich. The players went through a 90-minute training session on Thursday afternoon, although Harry Kane, Josip Stanišić and Hiroki Ito had a reduced workload as their last fixture was only two days ago. Jamal Musiala also trained alone in the morning as he works towards his comeback from a minor muscle injury.

Saturday in Augsburg

It was the start of Bayern’s preparations for their Bundesliga game away at Augsburg on Saturday and for another busy block that sees nine matches in the space of 29 days up until the next international break in November.
