There's no end to FC Bayern's extraordinary success story this season! Outstanding performances saw the record champions deservedly rewarded with the domestic double of championship and DFB Cup, and the Bavarians have now also swept the board in the player poll conducted by the respected weekly journal kicker. No less than four big names from the Munich club can look forward to receiving one of the coveted individual awards.
A total of 270 Bundesliga pros took part in the poll, in which Hansi Flick (61 percent of the vote) was named coach of the season by a substantial margin. Among the outfield players, top scorer Robert Lewandowski took the crown with a large majority (42.6%). In the goalkeeper category, FCB captain Manuel Neuer finished first with 35.2 per cent of the vote. A Bayern player also came top in the choice of the season's rising star - Road Runner Alphonso Davies won the ballot with an impressive 44.8 percent of the vote.
