Harry Kane has once again claimed FC Bayern’s Player of the Month award, with May his fifth gong in the vote by fans in the 2023/24 season. No other player has achieved the feat so often in the club’s monthly competition. The England striker received 16 percent of votes, coming out ahead of Konrad Laimer and Alphonso Davies (both around 12 percent).
A record season
The 30-year-old’s two outings in May saw him bag an assist in the Champions League semi-final second leg at Real Madrid and a goal away at VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga. It took his tally in the league to 36 in his maiden campaign in Germany, which is a total never before achieved by a Bundesliga debutant. How many goals and records could Kane set in his second season now he’s settled in?
