The spotlight is always on FC Bayern's professional teams – but on Wednesday evening, the team behind the scenes also got into the spirit of the new season with a summer party at Säbener Straße to mark the 125th anniversary of the German record champions. In his speech, CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen looked ahead together with around 1,000 employees, after which everyone, most of them dressed in traditional costume, pledged their commitment to 2025/26.
While Dreesen thanked everyone for their dedication and passion, president Herbert Hainer, board member for sport Max Eberl, sporting director Christoph Freund, coach Vincent Kompany and players such as Luis Díaz, Jonathan Tah and Jonas Urbig also mingled with the crowd. Later, a live band played evergreen hits in the beer tent, a DJ created a party atmosphere, and of course the club anthem ‘Stern des Südens’ was sung together. A summer party, just the way FC Bayern like it: warm, sociable, Bavarian.
