The traditional FC Bayern fan club visits took place for the 40th time last year – now the event, for decades one of the highlights in the club calendar, is back for another round. On 22 November, fan clubs can look forward to a visit from a player such as captain Manuel Neuer, Harry Kane or Jamal Musiala. Senior club officials led by president Herbert Hainer and CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen, as well as the sporting management of board member for sport Max Eberl and sporting director Christoph Freund, will also be heading out on fan club visits.
Markus Meindl, fans director: “The traditional fan club visits, shaped by the cheerful hospitality of the fan clubs, are symbolic of the close bond between FC Bayern as a club, its team and its fans. Connection, community and closeness are values that make this club so special. Since the debut in 1985, we’ve been bringing players, coaches, officials and fans together in an intimate atmosphere year after year, and we very much look forward to continuing this special tradition.”
Application deadline of 18 October
To apply, the relevant form must be uploaded directly to the online fan club administration system, together with a detailed application, by 18 October at the latest. Once the application deadline has passed, for organisational reasons, only those fan clubs selected for a visit will be notified. Once again this year, a special visit will be organised for children and young people. Fan clubs that have appointed a youth representative can apply with a special programme of activities. In addition, the successful format of digital fan club visits for international supporters will be offered once more. This will allow fans who are unable to attend in person to take part in this special FC Bayern tradition.
Due to external circumstances, dates are subject to change. We therefore ask for flexibility around the date of 22 November. FC Bayern looks forward to receiving many applications and to yet another unforgettable day with its fans!
