2024 was full of unforgettable moments for FC Bayern Women. fcbayern.com asked the players what they particularly remember, which moments they look back on fondly and what their personal highlights with FC Bayern were. The answers show how diverse, emotional and exciting the year was.
Jovana Damnjanović: Joy on and off the pitch
The experienced striker looks back on the major sporting successes with pride: "The Bundesliga title and the Supercup were highlights, of course!" But for her, the small victories on a more personal level also count: "I'm particularly pleased that all but our three long-term absentees are back in training. That's a terrific feeling for the team to end the year on," says Damnjanović.
Tuva Hansen & Georgia Stanway: Experiencing moments together

2024 was packed with highlights for Tuva Hansen and Georgia Stanway. The Bundesliga title is top of the list for both of them, followed by an impressive 4-0 win against Wolfsburg last season. Stanway adds: "Qualifying for the Champions League was a moment that was particularly important for all of us." "I can't add anything to that," adds Hansen with a grin.
Glódís Perla Viggósdóttir & Klara Bühl: Events and magical home games
The Bundesliga title was also the biggest success of the year for Viggósdóttir and Bühl. They also rlook back on the premiere of the documentary "More than 90 minutes" with joy. Klara stresses: "The UWCL home game against Arsenal was a highlight - the atmosphere was simply unique."
Sydney Lohmann: O'zapft is!
For Lohmann, the clash against Arsenal was one of the most intense moments of the year. But the team spirit off the pitch also remains important to her: "The Oktoberfest was a special experience for all of us." The victory in the Supercup, with 20,000 fans in the stadium, rounded off the perfect start to the season for her.
Ena Mahmutovic: Special debuts
The goalkeeper looks back on some personal milestones: "My first game for Bayern against Frankfurt and my debut in the UWCL against Vålerenga were incredible!’ Mahmutovic also particularly cherishes the memory of the Freiburg match in the DFB Cup: "It was a terrific evening with a special atmosphere."
Ana María Guzmán: A year of big comebacks
For Guzmán, 2024 was a year full of personal milestones: "Being back on the pitch after my injury was a very special moment for me," she says. She was also able to celebrate her return to the Colombia side - an achievement that fills her with pride. Her absolute highlight: "Playing my maiden game for Bayern was the crowning glory of a challenging and exciting year."
