Three Bayern players could be in action at the Allianz Arena during the October international break when Germany host the Netherlands. Find out which other players are set to be involved with their national teams and where over the coming weeks. All times listed are in CEST unless otherwise stated.
Germany: Kimmich, Gnabry & Pavlović
After starting their UEFA Nations League campaign with four points from their first two games, Germany now have two more group fixtures this month. Julian Nagelsmann’s side first go to Zenica to face Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday, 11 October (8.45pm) before a game in Munich against the Netherlands. The game at the Allianz Arena will also see Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller honoured for their services to the national team after they announced their international retirements. There are three Bayern players in the current squad in Joshua Kimmich, Serge Gnabry and Aleksandar Pavlović. Jamal Musiala was originally named by Nagelsmann but has had to pull out due to injury.
France: Upamecano & Olise
Dayot Upamecano and Michael Olise are Bayern’s two French representatives as Didier Deschamps’ side face away games against Israel in Budapest (10 October, 8.45pm) and then against Belgium (14 October, 8.45pm).
England: Kane
England captain Harry Kane also has Nations League games to look forward to. Following on from 2-0 wins over Ireland and Finland in September, the Three Lions now host Greece at Wembley on 10 October (8.45pm/7.45pm local time). Lee Carsley’s team then go to Helsinki on 13 October (6pm/7pm local time).
Portugal: Palhinha
João Palhinha has been called up by Roberto Martínez for Portugal’s two Nations League games against Poland in Warsaw on 12 October (8.45pm) and then in Glasgow against Scotland on 15 October (8.45pm/7.45pm local time).
Austria: Laimer
Konrad Laimer has been called up again by Ralf Rangnick for Austria’s two home games in the Nations League. They start against Kazakhstan on 10 October (8.45pm) and then host Norway on 13 October (8.45pm), with both matches in Linz. Austria are currently third in Group B3 with one point from two games.
South Korea: Kim
For Bayern defender Minjae Kim and South Korea, October brings more 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The two-time Asian champions began the third round of AFC qualifying with a draw and a win. They now go to Amman to face Jordan on 10 October (4pm/5pm local time) before hosting Iraq in Yongin on 15 October (1pm/8pm local time).
Canada: Davies
Alphonso Davies and Canada have just one game month as they host Panama in a friendly in Toronto on 15 October (7.30pm local time/1.30am CEST on 16 October).
France U21s: Tel
Mathys Tel has again been included in France’s U21 squad for their Euro 2025 qualifiers, starting away at Cyprus on 11 October (6.30pm). They then host Austria in Nancy on 15 October (6.30pm). The French are currently second in their qualifying group with 13 points from six games.
