Due to the coronavirus pandemic, FC Bayern have had to wait two years before paying another visit to fans overseas. For that reason, this year’s USA tour was "something special" as the CEO Oliver Kahn declared on Saturday morning in a joint final press conference with marketing director Andreas Jung: "That's why we were all very happy to be back in the USA," added Kahn who was excited to see how football has developed in the United States four years ahead of the World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico. "Football is more and more the number one sport for young people," said Kahn.

Positive conclusion from the board

FC Bayern celebrated the reunion with supporters in the USA with a large number of fun events. As with the match in Washington against DC United, there were a large number of stands built up in front of the Lambeau Field in Green Bay on Saturday where spectators could take photos or test their strength in challenges. FC Bayern legend Giovane Élber and mascot Berni were on constant duty on the other days helping to bring FC Bayern closer to the local populace.
